“People were protected from the risk of abuse. Risks to people’s health and well-being were assessed and managed. Staff undertook training about safeguarding and knew how to identify, and report abuse to keep people safe. People were supported to manage their medicines safely. People were supported in a manner that protected them from the risk of infection and cross contamination Staff underwent robust recruitment processes before they started providing care. Sufficient numbers of staff were deployed and provided care to people in a timely manner. People and their relatives felt the staff were kind and caring. People’s needs were assessed, regularly reviewed and appropriate support provided. Staff knew people well and understood how they liked to be supported. The registered was approachable and staff felt supported in their roles People, relatives and staff were asked for their feedback which the provider used to develop the service.”
