Comments Policy

We welcome genuine, helpful comments and reviews that help others research and compare care homes, home care providers and related services. This policy sets out what we expect and what is not allowed.

- honest, first-hand experiences and observations;

- respectful comments, even where critical.
3. What is not allowed
You must not submit content that:
- is false, misleading, exaggerated or not based on a genuine experience;
- is defamatory, abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory or obscene;
- identifies or reveals confidential information about residents, service users, staff or other individuals, unless you are lawfully entitled to disclose it;
- impersonates any person or misrepresents your connection to a provider;
- is advertising, spam or undisclosed promotion; or
- is unlawful or infringes any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
4. Moderation
We may review, verify, edit, refuse, remove, suspend, relabel, summarise or deprioritise any comment or review at any time, and we may ask for information to help us assess whether a submission appears genuine and relevant. We do not guarantee that any comment or review will be published, or that it will remain published, ranked or prominent.
5. Reporting a comment
If you believe a comment or review is inaccurate, unlawful, defamatory or otherwise breaches this policy, please contact us through our contact page with enough detail for us to identify the content.
6. How we use your submission
How we handle personal data in comments and reviews is explained in our Privacy Policy. Published content may be visible to the public, so you should not include personal contact details or information that identifies other people unless you are entitled to do so.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Comments Policy from time to time. The latest version published on the Site will apply.
