What this is
YourCareHome brings together every care home and every home care agency regulated in the United Kingdom, drawn directly from the four official regulators: the Care Quality Commission (England), the Care Inspectorate (Scotland), Care Inspectorate Wales, and the RQIA (Northern Ireland). If a provider is registered, it’s here, whether or not it ever pays us a penny.
Each listing carries the provider’s official inspection rating and report link, its registered details, and reviews from families. We re-sync with the regulators every week, so what you read is current, not a snapshot from years ago.
What we don’t do
- Ratings come from the regulator alone. The rating on a listing is the regulator’s, shown in the regulator’s words. No provider can pay to change, soften or hide it.
- We take no commission on placements. When you contact a provider, the enquiry goes to that provider alone. It is never auctioned or shared with competitors.
- We don’t write marketing copy for providers. Unclaimed listings show regulator data; claimed listings add the operator’s own content, clearly under their name.
How providers appear
Operators can claim their listing free and keep the essentials up to date. A paid Advanced listing adds a fuller profile (photos, team, fees, enquiries) and receives priority placement among results. Paid placement is always about attention, never about ratings: the inspection verdict on any listing is untouchable, and clearly labelled listing status shows on every page.
