“Date of Assessment: 8 July to 21 July 2025. The service is a care at home service providing support to adults of all ages living with physical disabilities and dementia. This was the first inspection of the service since it was registered.”

“People were involved in assessments of their needs. Staff reviewed assessments taking account of people’s communication, personal and health needs. People were supported with their nutrition to ensure they had enough to eat and drink to stay healthy. Staff worked with all agencies involved in people’s care for the best outcomes and smooth transitions when moving services. They monitored people’s health to support healthy living. Staff made sure people understood their care and treatment to enable them to give informed consent. Staff involved people’s representatives and took decisions in people’s best interests where they did not have capacity. However, risks to people’s safety had not always been identified and staff did not always maintain an accurate record of the support they provided to people with their medicines. The provider took immediate action during the inspection to address these shortfalls.”
