They had ensured there were sufficient staff to meet people’s needs meaning care calls were not rushed, late or missed. Staff were recruited through robust recruitment processes and staff were inducted into the service and received on-going training. This helped ensure people received care from suitably employed and skilled staff. Systems, processes and practices such as infection control, medicines management and safeguarding awareness were well managed, and staff were supported to retain a good knowledge of best practice.”
