“Date of assessment: 10 April to 7 May 2026. Miles Ahead Care is a care at home service providing personal care support to adults. At the time of our inspection, 13 people were receiving the regulated activity of personal care.”
“Overall, the service was rated Good. The service demonstrated a consistent approach to delivering safe, effective and person‑centred care. The service had systems to identify and manage risks, including oversight of incidents, medicines and infection prevention and control. Staff were recruited safely, supported through training and supervision, and worked with people and professionals to ensure care remained appropriate when needs changed. Risk assessments were thorough and regularly reviewed by the care supervisor, supporting positive outcomes for people’s health and wellbeing.”

“People experienced care that was kind, respectful and responsive to their individual needs. Staff built positive relationships, communicated in ways people could understand and supported independence, choice and control. The service was well led, with leaders providing clear oversight and promoting an open culture where staff felt supported to raise concerns and contribute to improvement. Governance systems supported monitoring and learning, and where issues were identified, action was taken to strengthen practice and support continuous improvement.”
