“This was the first assessment of the service since it was registered on 4 November 2022. We carried out this assessment to make sure the provider was meeting required standards. The registered manager was also the nominated individual and main director for the company. They oversaw the general business. In addition to management oversight, they worked alongside staff providing care to people The nominated individual is responsible for supervising the management of the service on behalf of the provider. Two other care workers were employed at the time and the provider was in the process of recruiting more staff.”

“We found the service provided good quality care and people were happy with the care and support. The staff had the training and information they needed to care for people. The registered manager operated effective systems for monitoring and improving the quality of the service and responding when things went wrong.”

“We expect health and social care providers to guarantee people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices and independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ is the guidance CQC follows to make assessments and judgements about services supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people and providers must have regard to it. The provider demonstrated they were meeting these principles.”
