“Date of assessment: 26 June to 4 July 2025. The service is a care at home service providing personal care to people living in their own homes with a range of health and social care needs, such as, physical disabilities, sensory impairment or dementia. At the time of our inspection there were 90 people using the service. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided.”

“We undertook this assessment in response to information of concern about the care provided. We found no evidence to support the concerns raised. Medicines were being managed safely but PRN protocols were not always in place, the registered manager told us this shortfall had been rectified following this assessment. Staff received the training and support they needed to provide safe and effective care. Staff were allocated to regular visits and this meant continuity of care was good and staff knew the people they were caring for well. People were receiving a personalised service, and risks were being effectively managed.”
