“The Cornerstone is a ‘care home’. People in care homes receive accommodation and nursing and/or personal care as a single package under one contractual agreement dependent on their registration with us. The Cornerstone is a care home without nursing care. CQC regulates both the premises and the care provided and both were looked at during this inspection. The service provides support to adults with learning disabilities and autistic people. At the time of this assessment there were 8 people using the service.”
“From this location a domiciliary care service also provided a supported living service for people in the community. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. The service provides support to adults with learning disabilities and autistic people. At the time of this assessment 7 people were supported in 2 houses in the community.”
