“There were systems to ensure people received safe care and treatment. People were supported to take risks and make informed choices. Staff assessed these risks and helped people understand how to keep themselves safe. There were systems to help safeguard people from abuse. People knew how to speak up if they had concerns. Staff worked together and with the people they supported, to discuss when things went wrong and learn from incidents and accidents.”

“There were enough staff to keep people safe and meet their needs. Staff completed a range of training to help them understand about their roles and responsibilities. Staff told us they felt supported and worked well with each other.”

“People were able to make choices about their care. The registered manager and staff worked with people to develop personalised assessments and care plans. People set their own objectives. Staff helped them achieve these.”

“People lived in a safe and comfortable environment. They were involved in shopping, preparing food and keeping their home clean. People had regular meetings with staff and each other to discuss the service.”
