“At the time of our assessment there was a registered manager in post. We spoke with 11 staff including the registered manager, deputy manager, nursing staff, care staff, chef, housekeeping, maintenance, and administrative staff.People were protected from the risk of abuse and risks to people were safely managed. People were treated with dignity and respect and there were enough staff to support people to meet their needs. People had access to health and social care professionals when they needed them, and medicines were well managed. Care and treatment were delivered in line with best practice. Assessments were regularly updated to ensure they reflected people’s personal choices, cultural needs and preferences. The service was well led, and leaders were visible, approachable and engaged with people. Staff told us they felt supported by the registered manager.”
