“Cheriton Care Home is registered to provide personal care to up to 71 people, some of whom are living with dementia. Nursing care is not provided. At the time of assessment, the home was supporting 67 people. The assessment took place between 19 November and 18 December 2024. We visited the service on 20 November 2024. This assessment was prompted by concerns about people’s safe care and treatment. Following this assessment, we were assured people’s health needs were addressed promptly as the provider acted in response to changes in the presentation of people and had monitoring processes in place to protect people from avoidable harm.”
