“Date of assessment: 14 November to 20 November 2024. The Sussex Village Homecare Service is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care to people living in their own homes.”
“People were supported by a caring and compassionate staff team who were trained and supervised appropriately. Staff were mostly recruited safely, where a shortfall was identified during our assessment, the registered manager rectified it immediately. People’s medicines were administered and managed safely. The safeguarding policy was followed by staff to ensure people were protected from the risk of harm or abuse. Staff followed infection prevent and control procedures to keep people safe.”
