We found the provider was meeting this.”

“The inspection was carried out because the service had been registered with CQC since March 2020 and had not yet been inspected.”

“Processes to help ensure that risks to people were assessed and mitigated were effective. There was enough staff deployed to meet people’s needs according to their agreed package of care.”

“There were good systems to protect people from the risk of infection and cross contamination, and staff followed good practice. There were systems in place for the safe recruitment of staff. People were supported by staff who were kind and caring and knew them well.”

“People and their relatives were involved in their initial assessment, support planning and the management of individual risks. Staff received regular training and had their competencies checked. Staff spoke favourably of the management team and felt listened to and consulted.”

“The provider supported staff wellbeing, and staff were encouraged to give feedback. Leaders were visible and supportive, helping staff develop in their roles.”

“There were governance systems in place to monitor the quality of the service, and these were effective.”

“This provider is required to have a registered manager to oversee the delivery of regulated activities at this location. At the time of our inspection a manager was in post and registered with the Care Quality Commission.”
