“We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choice, independence and access to local communities that most people take for granted.”

“People received individual care that was based on their assessed needs. Care plans and risk assessments were developed alongside people and care was delivered at the right time in line with these plans. People were supported by safely recruited staff who had the skills, knowledge and training to meet people’s needs. They knew people well and they were liked by people.”

“People were safeguarded from potential abuse as procedures were in place and followed. Infection control was considered. Medicines were managed safely. The principles of the Mental Capacity Act were understood.”

“Staff felt listened to and involved and spoke positively about the support they received from the company and the registered manager. There were systems in place to monitor quality of the service.”
