However, we assessed the care provision under Right Support, Right Care, Right Culture, as it is registered as a specialist service for this population group.”

“Helping Hands Poole is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care and support to people living in their own homes. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. At the time of this inspection 41 people were receiving the regulated activity of personal care from the service. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided.”
“We carried out our on-site assessment on the 10 April 2024, off site assessment activity started on 8 April 2024 and ended on 15 April 2024. During this assessment we looked at 5 quality statements: Learning Culture; Safeguarding; Involving people to manage risks; Equity in experiences and outcomes and Governance, management, and sustainability.”
“The inspection was prompted in part due to concerns received about the oversight of the service and safeguarding people from avoidable harm. A decision was made for us to inspect and examine those risks. We found no evidence during this inspection that people were not at risk of harm from these concerns.”
