“People received safe care. Risks to their wellbeing and safety were planned for. The provider worked closely with external professionals to help manage risk. People’s needs were assessed, planned for and monitored. People made choices about their care. Staff were well trained and supported. They were happy in their roles and had good relationships with the people they were caring for. The service was well managed and there were effective systems for monitoring and improving quality. We expect health and social care providers to guarantee people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices and independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ is the guidance CQC follows to make assessments and judgements about services supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people and providers must have regard to it. The provider demonstrated they were meeting the principles of Right support, right care, right culture.”
