“At our last assessment we identified 2 breaches of the legal regulations relating to safe care and treatment and good governance. At this inspection, we identified 2 continuing breaches of the legal regulations in safe care and treatment and good governance and an additional breach of the legal regulations relating to fit and proper persons employed.”
“The provider did not always provide safe care and treatment. Systems and processes were not effective in identifying issues and areas for improvement. There was inconsistent recording within care records. Staff were not always recruited safely. Medicines were not routinely managed safely. Risks relating to people’s care were not always assessed, care records were not always detailed, accurate or person-centred. The provider was not consistently working in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 when completing mental capacity assessments. However, the provider worked with professionals and was managing infection prevention and control effectively.”
