The inspection record
Rated Requires improvement overall. Report published 28 July 2026.
“Dates of assessment:17 June to 3 July 2026.”
“Aspire Hub 1 is a domiciliary care agency. It provides personal care to people living in their own homes. Not everyone using the service received a regulated activity; CQC only inspects when people are provided with 'personal care'. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of this assessment, 22 people were receiving personal care from the service. We carried out this responsive assessment as the effective, caring and responsive domains were unrated. We looked at 18 quality statements.”

“We have assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted.”
“People received care and support that was tailored to their individual needs, preferences and aspirations, and staff worked collaboratively to ensure positive experiences and outcomes.”
“People’s needs were thoroughly assessed and regularly reviewed, with staff drawing on professional guidance and best practice to deliver effective, personalised care. Staff worked well with external professionals, ensuring care was coordinated and seamless when people moved between services. The service promoted healthier lifestyles, supporting people to make informed choices about diet, exercise and wellbeing.”
“Staff consistently demonstrated kindness, compassion and respect, building trusting relationships with people and their families. People described staff as friendly, supportive and attentive, and staff spoke about individuals in a positive and dignified manner. Care was delivered in a way that recognised each person’s unique background, culture and strengths, with staff supporting people to maintain independence and make choices about their daily lives.”
“The service ensured information was provided in formats people could understand. People and relatives felt listened to and were confident that concerns would be addressed promptly. Staff supported people to access healthcare services and overcome individual barriers, ensuring equitable access and experiences.”
“The service also supported people to plan for future life changes, including end‑of‑life preferences, and encouraged individuals to pursue meaningful activities and personal goals. Staff wellbeing was prioritised through supervision, training and development opportunities, enabling staff to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care.”
