“We inspected the service due to the length of time since our last inspection and the previous rating which was Requires Improvement.”

“At our last inspection, the provider was previously in breach of the legal regulations in safe care and treatment and good governance, largely relating to the safe management of medication. Sufficient improvements were found at this assessment, and the provider was no longer in breach of these regulations.”

“Medicines were now being managed safely. People were protected from abuse and avoidable harm. Systems for safeguarding, risk management, infection control were effective. Staff were well-trained and knew people well, which built trust with the people they supported.”

“Feedback about the care provided was extremely positive and everybody told us about the caring nature of the staff team. People were offered choice and their independence was promoted by staff.”

“Leadership was strong, inclusive, and focused on continuous improvement. There was a positive culture of openness and learning, clear governance systems, and effective partnership working. Staff felt supported and able to speak up, and diversity was valued.”
