“Vallance Residential Care Home is a residential care home providing support to older people, some of whom were living with dementia. At the previous inspection on 25 May 2021, we found areas of practice that required improvement in respect to keeping people safe from harm and abuse, and systems of quality monitoring and governance. We found that improvements had been made. We have rated this service Good.”
“We spoke with 3 people and 1 relative about their experience of the care provided. We used the Short Observational Framework for Inspection (SOFI). SOFI is a way of observing care to help us understand the experience of people who could not talk with us. We spoke with the registered manager and 2 members of staff.”
