“Umika Lodge Care Home is a residential care home providing accommodation with personal care for up to 29 people. The service provides care to older people. We carried out our on-site assessment on 2 December 2024. At the time of our inspection 27 people were being supported with personal care at the service. This was a responsive and unannounced assessment. We looked at quality statements relating to areas in Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-Led. For those areas we did not assess, we used the ratings awarded at the last inspection to calculate the overall rating.”
