“As part of the assessment we looked at 5 quality statements: Safeguarding; Involving people to manage risks; Safe and effective staffing; Independence, choice and control and Equity in experiences and outcomes.”
“We met 6 people who lived at the home. People used different ways of communicating, including using vocalisations, facial expressions and body language. We spent time with people, observing their interactions with staff. We contacted 4 people’s relatives to ask their views following our visit.”
