“The last inspection was carried out in May 2023 and the was rated overall as good, with a requires improvement for responsive as peoples needs were not always met in a timely manner and opportunities for people to participate in social activities were limited and did not always meet the individual needs or preferences of people in the home.”

“During this assessment we acknowledge the change within the management structure and how this has benefitted the people who reside at the home, but also for the staff. It was evident that there have been challenges within the service but the leaders and staff are working hard to address them in order to meet the individual needs of people who use the service and improve their experience of care. Leaders have addressed the concerns relating to the managment of medicines, poor complaints process, safeguarding issues including unexplained bruising, poor personal care and hydration and nutrition for people using the service. However, the majority of the work that has been completed is in is infancy, it now needs to be embedded in order to bring about sustained, positive change.”
