“Meadow View is a nursing home which provides care for up to 20 people aged 18 and over, in 3 connected bungalows. At the time of our inspection there were 18 people living at Meadow View, with a primary diagnosis of a learning disability.”
“We have assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. ”

“We found that staff and leaders were caring and responsive to the needs of people. They knew people well and and offered a range of stimulating activities. Care plans were easy to read and gave a clear oversight of the needs of people. The care home was a safe, calm environment and effective systems were in place to monitor quality and safety. Medication was managed safely and effectively. Leaders knew people and staff well and were approachable and responsive.”
