The inspection record
Overall
Good
Report published 29 June 2026
“We carried out this assessment at St Marks Nursing Home on 2 June and 3 June 2026. St Marks Nursing Home is a nursing home providing care for up to 35 people, with 32 people using the service at the time of the assessment. The inspection was carried out due to the length of time since the last inspection.”
“Care planning and risk management were improving, but some further work was needed. Not all records clearly showed people’s risks or how staff were monitoring areas such as nutrition and hydration. Some information in the records was inconsistent, and oversight needed to be stronger. The provider had already identified these issues through an external review and had begun making improvements to strengthen record keeping and governance.”
