“Date of assessment: 17 February 2025. Silvanna Court is a residential care home providing accommodation with personal care for up to 83 people. The service provides care to older people. We looked at quality statements relating to areas in Safe, Effective, Responsive and Well-Led. For those areas we did not assess, we used the ratings awarded at the last inspection to calculate the overall rating. People were involved in their care planning and reviews. People had enough to eat and drink to stay healthy. People were treated with kindness and compassion. Staff responded to people in a timely way. Managers and staff had a shared vision of quality, person centred care for each person. Staff understood their roles and responsibilities. Managers worked with the local community to deliver the best possible care and were receptive to new ideas. The provider and management team maintained good oversight of the service overall. There was a culture of continuous improvement.”
