“The service was rated requires improvement overall at their last inspection (published 17 October 2022). This inspection was prompted because breaches of legal requirements were found at the providers last inspection.”

“We carried out this unannounced on-site inspection of this service on 22 April 2024. The team who conducted the inspection consisted of an inspector, an assessor and a regulatory coordinator.”
“We looked at all 5 key questions and 33 quality statements during this assessment.”
“Based on our findings we have changed the services rating from requires improvement to good. This was because we found the service had followed the action plan they had sent us after their last inspection and made improvements in all the areas where we had identified issues. For example, staff now assessed and mitigated identified risks people might face; Staff were now suitably trained and supported to meet people’s needs and keep them safe; The care homes interior had been totally refurbished making it a much more comfortable and pleasant place for people to live; People living in the care home were now treated with dignity and respect by staff; Social activities provision was now more person-centred; and the providers governance systems were now operated more effectively.”
