Hollyfields

“Date of assessment 27 October – 27 Nov 2025. Hollyfields is a care home with nursing supporting older people, some who may be living with dementia, and younger adults. The service is registered to support up to 48 people and at the time of our assessment there were 30 people living there. We visited the service on the 27 October and 3 November 2025. This assessment was carried out in response to concerns raised about care, peoples’ safety from falls and staffing levels. We looked at all quality statements in the key questions of safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. People’s needs were assessed before admission and reviewed regularly to ensure appropriate care. Care plans were person-centred, and most risks were identified and documented. The provider had systems in place to learn from incidents and share lessons with staff to promote good practice. During our assessment, we noted some areas for improvement, which the provider addressed promptly. At the time, the service was undergoing refurbishment, and suitable checks and risk assessments were completed to maintain safety. Care was delivered by safely recruited staff who had received safeguarding training and understood how to report concerns.  ”
