“Date of Assessment: 19 November 2025.”
“The service is a residential home providing support to people with a learning disability and autistic people. At the time of the inspection 5 people were living at Trelowen. We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted.”

“The provider was previously in breach of regulations in relation to the premises and the oversight of the service. Improvements were found at this inspection and the provider was no longer in breach of the regulations.”
“The premises had been redecorated, and a new kitchen and bathroom had been installed.”
“People’s health was monitored, when any concerns were identified these were shared with appropriate healthcare professionals and action taken to address the issue. Regular reviews took place to help ensure care and support continued to meet people’s needs.”
“There were enough staff to support people according to their needs and preferences. Staff had completed training relevant to the service, they knew people well and had a good understanding of their needs.”
“Staff told us they were well supported by the registered manager and the wider organisation.”
