“The environment was well maintained, safe and personalised to people’s needs. There were sufficient staff in place who were safely recruited, but some improvements were needed to ensure they had always been assessed as competent to perform certain tasks.”

They led a team that promoted kindness and compassion at every opportunity and advocated for people and their quality of life. There were strong governance arrangements which ensured care being delivered remained of a high standard and was driven by the voice of people and their families. The service was an active participant both in their local community, and the wider Huntington’s Disease community to continually improve the quality of care being provided.”
