“People had detailed end-of-life care plans to ensure they were supported the way they wanted to be supported. Information was provided in a way people could understand, however relatives and professionals did not always find it easy to make contact with the home. People were supported by a range of health professionals such as GP’s and nurses, however, they had not always had an opportunity to have routine health appointments such as vision or dental checks. The home was accessible to everyone living at GHC nursing home.”
