“The home had enough staff to support people safely. Records showed accidents and incidents were documented, investigated and any learning when things went wrong was shared with staff and embedded to improve ways of working.”

“People were supported to ensure they received fluid and nutrition in line with their preferences and dietary needs, join in activities to keep them mentally and physically active, and maintain their health and wellbeing. People could access support from medical and other professionals including on an emergency basis.”

Staff also felt they had the right support from the management team and were confident in their ability to fulfil their role.”

This was made possible by creating strong connections with the community and evaluating people’s past and interests to create unique experiences.”
