“Date of Assessment: 6 to 20 August 2026. Dent House Nursing Home is a residential service providing support to adults of all ages living with learning disabilities and autistic people, sensory impairments, mental health conditions including dementia and who had nursing needs.”

“This assessment was carried out due to the age of the current rating. We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’. This guidance supported judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choice, independence and access to local communities that most people take for granted. The service had not originally been developed and designed in line with the values that underpin the registering the Right Support and other best practice guidance. People with learning disabilities and autistic people using the service can live as ordinary a life as any citizen. However, people were given choices and their independence and participation within the local community was being encouraged.”
