This incident is subject to further investigation by CQC as to whether any regulatory action should be taken. As a result, this inspection did not examine the circumstances of the incident. However, the information shared with CQC about the incident indicated potential concerns about the management of risk of Legionella. This assessment examined those risks.”

“We spoke with 4 people who lived at the home. We spoke with 8 staff including an operations manager, registered manager, deputy managers, care assistants and maintenance staff.”

“Staff were attentive to people’s safety; however, improvements were required in risk management of safe environments.”

“Systems to assess, monitor and improve the quality and safety of the service were operated; however, some improvements were required in ensuring timely action was taken.”
