Staff clearly knew people well and recognised changes in people’s needs, which resulted in referrals made to external healthcare professionals in a timely manner. Care records were regularly reviewed to ensure people’s care and support needs were accurate. The service worked with external healthcare professionals to support and maintain people’s health. People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives. The policies and systems in the service supported this practice.”

“The registered manager had a strong presence in the service. Staff told us they felt supported by the registered manager and provider. Staff were recognised and rewarded for going above and beyond. The provider had schemes to monitor and improve the quality and safety of the service. People, relatives and staff were regularly asked for feedback which was acted upon to drive improvement.”
