“There was enough staff to support people to remain safe. Although, the registered manager and people agreed there could be more staff to support people to engage in more meaningful activities. Staff had the skills and knowledge they needed to provide people with safe care. Staff were well supported and there was oversight of staff practice. Staff knew how to support people and care plans provided them with the guidance they needed, although there were some minor improvements needed to some areas of care plans.”

“The registered manager had the skills and experience needed to manage the service. There was an effective system of governance in place to identify where improvements were needed and monitor that actions were taken. There were regular meetings for staff to keep staff up to date and share information. The service worked in partnership with health and social care professionals to support people in a joined-up way and provide good outcomes for people. Staff had undertaken equality and diversity training and told us diversity was valued at the service.”
