“Some improvements were needed in relation to medicines management, and some of the quality assurance processes. The management team were responsive to our feedback about this. Checks for safety had been carried out throughout the premises and for any equipment being used. Fire risks were assessed and managed. Quality assurance processes were in place to monitor all aspects of the service. Managers investigated incidents thoroughly and lessons learned were shared with staff. Staff worked with all agencies involved in people’s care for the best outcomes and monitored people’s health to support healthy living. A team of health professionals told us, “Ancasta have been fantastic community partners.””
