“The provider promoted a positive safety culture, with risks assessed and managed in a way that supported people to remain safe while maintaining their independence. Staff demonstrated a good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and worked collaboratively with external professionals to deliver safe and coordinated care. Although two incidents had not been submitted through the CQC notification process, the provider responded promptly to feedback and implemented actions to strengthen oversight and reporting arrangements.”

People were encouraged to make decisions about their care, maintain independence, and remain involved in aspects of daily life that were important to them. Relatives, where appropriate, were involved in planning and reviewing care, helping to ensure support remained responsive to people’s wishes.”
