“Abbeywell Court is a care home providing personal and nursing care to up to 45 people. Care was provided in one adapted building across two floors. At the time of our inspection there were 39 people using the service. The assessment took place between 28 August 2024 and 06 September 2024. We undertook this assessment following information received about the quality of care provided, in particular how the provider managed people’s falls risks, distressed behaviours and eating and drinking needs as well as infection prevention and control procedures and provision of activities.”
“The provider had made improvements and is no longer in breach of regulations. Risks to people were now mitigated and monitored safely. Care plans were now kept in date with people's changing needs and included accurate information. Medicines were now managed and stored safely.”
