CQC only inspects where people receive the regulated activity of personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided.”

“The service was safe, well led and person centred. Safeguarding systems were in place and staff were trained and confident in recognising and reporting concerns.”
“Risks were effectively assessed and reviewed, with positive behaviour support plans (PBS) focusing on prevention and de-escalation of distress. Staff consistently followed these plans, which reduced distress and supported people to enjoy meaningful activities and grow in independence.”
“People received personalised support from a skilled, consistent staff team who knew them well. Staff understood people’s communication needs, the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and human rights, and supported people to make choices and be involved in decisions about their care.”
