We were told staff treated people in a dignified way, respecting their privacy and providing care according to their support needs.”

“While staff and managers were knowledgeable about people’s needs and there was no evidence of impact on people using the service, some care plans and risk assessments lacked sufficient person-centred detail, particularly in relation to specific health conditions and risk management. In addition, audit and quality assurance systems had not consistently identified these issues, limiting opportunities for earlier improvement. The provider acknowledged these findings, was receptive to feedback and demonstrated a clear commitment to strengthening oversight, improving records and driving continuous improvement across the service. The provider promoted an open culture and demonstrated a commitment to learning, improvement and partnership working.”
