“We carried out a remote assessment. This was the first assessment of the service. Following the assessment, the service was rated good.”
“People received care, which reflected their individual needs and preferences. A consistent group of staff supported people, which helped staff develop an understanding of people’s routines and preferred ways of receiving care. People and their relatives told us they felt safe using the service and were happy with the support provided. They described staff as caring, respectful and attentive. Staff attended visits as planned and provided support in line with people’s assessed needs.”
“People were involved in decisions about their care and support. Assessments were completed before care commenced and people told us their care was reviewed regularly to ensure it continued to meet their needs. Staff supported people to maintain their independence where possible and encouraged them to express preferences and make choices about their care.”
“Staff completed training relevant to their roles and told us they felt supported by the management team. Staff described managers as approachable and responsive when guidance or support was needed. The provider had recruitment procedures in place to help ensure staff were suitable to work within the service.”
