“Staff received an induction and training relevant to their role and told us that they were supported in their work. Recruitment procedures were in place to ensure suitable staff were employed and staff told us that management was responsive and approachable if guidance or support was needed.”

“During the assessment we identified some areas where records could be strengthened. In particular risk assessments, they contained helpful information but did not always fully reflect or correspond with risks identified in care plans. This meant there was not always a clear and consistent overview of how risks were managed.”

“The provider acknowledged these findings and told us they will address all issues. We did not identify any evidence that people had experienced harm because of these concerns. The provider demonstrated a willingness to reflect on feedback and act where needed to improve the service.”
