“Right Support: Risks to people’s health and wellbeing were managed well and people were included in the risk management processes. People received their care visits at regular times from staff that knew them well. Staff understood how to ensure people had choice and control and independence.”
“Right Care: Staff told us and care records showed people received person-centred care and their privacy and dignity was upheld. There were processes in place to assess people’s capacity in line with the MCA, however, this was not done in all circumstances.”
“Right Culture: Staff told us they were supported by senior staff to enable them to carry out their role. The provider had a range of processes in place to gather feedback from people and staff.”
“Soma Healthcare (Central London) is a domiciliary care agency which provides personal care and support to people in their own homes. Not everyone received a regulated activity. CQC only inspects the service being received by people provided with 'personal care', that is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided.”
