“People were supported by staff who knew them well. People’s care plans were person- centred to reflect their needs and wishes. Staff spoke passionately about working for Personal Touch Care Services and told us they enjoyed their jobs. Staff felt supported by the management team. There were enough staff to ensure people’s needs were met and people had continuity in care. Regular care reviews were undertaken, and relatives were involved in this process where appropriate. Leaders and staff had a shared vision and positive culture based on listening, learning and trust. Governance at the service was robust. Records were continually reviewed and updated. Staff practice was frequently observed, and this was used to drive improvement. Staff and the management team had good relationships with external health and social professionals and shared information appropriately.”
