“This was the first assessment since registration. We carried out a comprehensive assessment covering all key questions and quality statements.”

“People were protected from abuse and avoidable harm. Staff understood safeguarding responsibilities and followed clear processes to report concerns. Risks were assessed and managed through care planning, and staff followed guidance to support people safely. The provider also followed safe medicines and infection prevention practices.”

“The service was providing good quality, person-centred care that met people’s individual needs. People and their relatives gave consistently positive feedback. They described staff as kind, respectful and professional, and said care was delivered in line with people’s preferences, including cultural and religious needs. People were supported to remain independent and involved in decisions about their care.”

“Care planning was detailed and personalised. Assessments identified risks, health conditions and communication needs, and care plans gave clear guidance for staff. Reviews were carried out and updated when needs changed, and the provider worked with families and other services to support continuity.”
