“Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of our assessment there were 12 people receiving personal care and support.”

“We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgments about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. We found the provider was meeting these values.”

“The provider had a good learning culture and people were confident to raise concerns. The provider investigated incidents and accidents thoroughly to help identify any themes or patterns emerging and to help make sure people were safe.”

“Staff managed people’s medicines well and involved people in planning any changes.”

“People were protected from avoidable harm and kept safe. Staff understood and managed risks to people’s health and wellbeing. The provider ensured there were enough staff deployed with the right skills, qualifications and experience. The provider made sure staff received the necessary training, supervision and regular appraisals to help maintain high-quality care.”
