“Fareni Lifecare Ltd is a domiciliary care agency that provides personal care to adults and older people in their own homes. The assessment was carried out in response to the quality of care records supplied to us as part of the dormancy process. The service came out of dormancy in February 2024. At the time of the assessment, the service was providing care to 8 people, some of who were living with complex care needs. We identified 4 breaches in relation to safe care and treatment, governance, fit and proper persons employed and staffing. This meant people using the service were at risk of harm. The assessment was completed remotely by an inspector. As part of the assessment, we spoke with the registered manager, 1 care assistant, 8 people who use the service and 1 relative.”
