“We found people were supported to receive safe support from a consistent staff team who knew them well and understood risks and how to support people positively. Staff understood their safeguarding responsibilities and told us they were confident to raise concerns internally or externally if needed. Staff had a good understanding of how to support people with health risks and supporting people to transfer safely within their care setting.”
“Staff understood consent and ensured people had choice and control of their care. When people’s needs changed staff supported them to access health and care professionals to enable them to receive joined up care. Staff maintained a culture where people were prioritised, respected and supported to lead fulfilling lives.”
“The culture of the service was positive and promoted good outcomes for people. There were systems in place to ensure learning was implemented and shared with staff through staff meetings and handovers. Staff knew people well and understood how to support them in the most positive way.”
